Select the furnace around the dental material system

Dental laboratory furnaces are not interchangeable simply because they share a compact benchtop format. The correct route depends on the material being processed, the validated program for that material, the required chamber or platform arrangement and the way the load must heat and cool.

Separate sintering from firing and pressing

A zirconia sintering furnace is evaluated around its sintering program, chamber capacity, support media and cooling sequence. A porcelain firing or pressing route can use a different chamber movement, platform, vacuum boundary and program structure. Pyrocore reviews these as distinct configurations rather than assigning one furnace to every dental material.

Program control and chamber movement

The control interface, chamber or lift movement and temperature measurement must work together. The technical review identifies how the load enters the hot zone, whether the furnace remains closed during controlled cooling, how programs are repeated and which alarms or interlocks fit the laboratory workflow.
